WE-RISE is a groundbreaking initiative designed to support and amplify the impact of women-led startups in GreenTech, AgriTech, and ClimateTech across Europe. Recognizing the significant barriers female entrepreneurs face, such as limited funding opportunities and lack of access to resources, WE-RISE aims to create a more inclusive and diverse innovation ecosystem.
The Project
WE-RISE is a Horizon Europe funded project.
The project aims to enhance market presence of women-led startups, boost access to funding and investment, facilitate ecosystem integration and support, promote inclusion and diversity in the tech sector, accelerate innovation and sustainable growth. It will distribute 1.2 million EUR in FSTP to 40 women-led startups (60% coming from widening countries), offer them tailored support services (Phase 1 and Phase 2 packages such as training, consultancy, networking), and raise awareness on women leadership.
WE-RISE targets women-led startups in widening countries and beyond, working on deeptech solutions in greentech, climatetech and agritech fields.
The Project will be delivered by 5 partners.G-Force will be responsible for core programme design and delivery elements across the end-to-end Acceleration process.
